Robert Arnold

February 1, 1943 ~ July 19, 2018 (age 75)

White City - Robert Edward Arnold, 75, of White City, Kansas, passed away July 19, 2018, at Morris County Hospital.

He was born February 1, 1943, the youngest of 13 children.  He was raised by his foster parents, Charles and Leona Ross.  Bob joined the US Army on February 5, 1960.  He served 3 tours in Viet Nam and was honorably discharged on October 15, 1968.  He was very proud to serve his country.

He worked for the Civil Service as a heavy equipment operator for 25 years.

Bob and Linda loved spending time with one another.  They enjoyed fishing, camping, gambling, riding motorcycles and “just enjoying life”.

Bob is survived by his wife Linda, of the home; 2 daughters, Tracy Wooten and husband Nathan, of Piedmont, OK and Jeannie Skilbeck and husband Christian, of Nashville, TN;  2 grandchildren, Gareth and Kyra Wooten; mother-in-law Jean Sams, of the home; brothers-in-law; sisters-in-law; and numerous nieces and nephews. 

He was preceded in death by his parents and father-in-law D.J. Sams.

A memorial service will be at 10:00 A.M., Friday, July 27, 2018, at White City Cemetery, with Pastor Charles Dyer officiating.  Funeral honors will be conducted by the US Army.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given in Bob’s memory to Warrior Guiding Warriors.
